Clindamycin 0.1% w/w:
Clindamycin is an antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby preventing the growth of acne-causing bacteria (primarily Propionibacterium acnes ) on the skin. This helps reduce inflammation and the number of acne lesions.
Adapalene 1% w/w (Microsphere):
Adapalene is a retinoid that promotes cell turnover and helps prevent clogged pores by increasing the shedding of dead skin cells. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and helps reduce acne lesions.
Antibacterial Action (Clindamycin): Reduces the population of acne-causing bacteria, leading to a decrease in inflammation and acne lesions.
